The purpose of the accreditation is to ensure business advisors have the ability to provide a high standard of business advice and to demonstrate their commitment to continuing their own professional development to maintain that quality of advice.The accreditation can help give business advisors confidence by identifying areas they are good at and areas where they may particulary benefit from further development such as:
Recognising Excellence are now the only Licensed Centre in the South West and Wales that can provide official SFEDI accreditation and place properly assessed people on to the National Register of Business Advisors.
The Institute of leadership & Management (ILM) and SFEDI will issue all successfully accredited candidates with a certificate. All accredited advisers will be able to use the SFEDI and ILM logos.
To retain SFEDI accreditation it must be renewed every 2 years, therefore if you have attained it in the past it may be time for renewal. Contact us today to find out more.
Who should apply for SFEDI accreditation?
SFEDI is suitable for individuals and organisations that provide business advice. It is also particulary well suited to organisations that work on behalf of the public sector.
Subject to meeting certain criteria, some public sector organisations are supplying funding towards attaining the accreditation to their advisors or advisors who work in their focus areas.
